Carl Jung worked as an intelligence asset for the OSS during World War II, under which he was given the name 'agent 488' by Allen Dulles. Dulles later remarked that “Nobody will probably ever know how much Prof Jung contributed to the allied cause during the war". The uncle to Carl Jung's grandfather was a member of the Bavarian Illuminati. Jung's own grandfather was a Grand Master Freemason, and his coat of arms bore Rosicrucian and Masonic symbolism.
