Photo from of an ophthalmologist‘s in Tainan, Taiwan, 1962, taken by Wang Shuang-Ch‘üan 王雙全 (1920-1978). There’s another photo of the place by Chu I-wen 朱逸文 published in the Jp magazine フォトアート in 1963 that made an appearance in manga in 1968. Source - Source
