Matryoshka Analysis
When tackling complex issues—whether in R&D, design, philosophy, politics, or beyond—a powerful technique is to deliberately shift your vantage point, change your perspective and explore different levels of abstraction. I call this the Matryoshka Analysis.

8 billion people running recursive world model simulations of each other in real-time. Amazing it works so well.

It's a funny reality we live in - we're born, we mess up a bunch of stuff and shortly after we die."Drink up! Life is short, but pussy is eternal!" - Quote from Paprika, 1991 Italian film by Tinto Brass

Many are feverishly working towards fully AI Generated audiovisual media. The more exciting opportunity that most are missing, is creating AI audiences that consume the endless synthetic content - so humans can go to the forest with friends and enjoy the peace.
-
Reminder to self: The reason to keep posting stuff online after all this time - despite all channels being horrible cesspools - is to make that one special person smile & think, who has been silently paying attention for years or just spotted the signal. I salute you stranger 🙏

The one thing the army of genius defense intelligence analysts, big tech strategists, financial risk management specialists, psyops hypnotists and noosphere network state operatives do not comprehended: Silence is bliss.

People get very excited that they can talk with AI Bots while I would gladly pay a lot to not have to talk to anyone.
“Silence is truth. Silence is bliss. Silence is peace. And hence Silence is the Self.” — Ramana Maharshi
“I found I had less and less to say, until finally, I became silent, and began to listen. I discovered in the silence, the voice of God.” — Soren Kierkegaard

All psyop strive to be omnicause: the object contemplated during the induced meditative trance is impermanent & effortlessly interchangeable, while the observer's attention remains fixated. Transcending such mind control requires the cultivation of relaxed mind/body awareness.

Choosing who to spend significant time with is tough. Reevaluating past decisions and letting go of or reshaping relationships that no longer serve us is even tougher.
Related is "the sunk cost fallacy", that means that we are focused on our past investments instead of present and future costs and benefits, meaning that we commit to decisions that are no longer in our best interests.

In 13th century Arabic literature there are explicit warnings that Djinn (جِنّ) tend to appear in crystalline silicon, the dominant semiconductor today. While Djinn do not usually meddle in human affairs, they can become enraged when disturbed by electricity.

The timid little flame of an idea needs playful fun to transform into a blazing magical fire
I forgot for a sec just how important "having fun" is as a gradient for success. One can research, engineer and optimize anything to the nth degree, but if the journey is not fun and personally meaningful, it's likely dead in the water.
Regardless of the project idea one considers, upon closer examination, one inevitably concludes that there are numerous ambiguities and challenges associated with it. Moreover, when presenting any idea to a group of ten people, at least five may fail to grasp it until a compelling pitch is crafted. Approaching ideas exclusively with an analytical engineering mindset swiftly spells doom for nascent concepts—it stifles innovation at its core, depriving it of the essential spark of playful creativity necessary for initiation. Consequently, the focus should not initially be on achieving a robust implementation with universal applicability, but rather on swift implementation and eliciting feedback. Empires don't fail, they transform: The Roman empire became a church. The British empire became a bank. The American empire became the internet.

I used to write long blog posts & regularly give talks on complex ideas, with the goal of structuring my own mind & changing yours. Eventually came to the insight that in most cases practicing Qigong instead of talking is far more effective - as the medium is the massage.

Learning to be non-judgmental is an art. You are at peace with your world when you don’t judge others. Being non-judgmental towards judgmental people is the supreme discipline.
