Spectrophilia is sexual attraction to ghosts or sexual arousal from images in mirrors, as well as the alleged phenomenon of sexual encounters between ghosts and humans.
Take-Home Messages: •This paper describes neurophysiological, psychophysical, and behavioral observations from laboratory studies involving human and animal subjects. •Absorption of a single microwave pulse impinging on the head may be perceived as an acoustic zip, click, or knocking sound. •A train of microwave pulses may be sensed as an audible buzz, chirp, or tune by humans. •Mechanistic studies show absorption of microwave pulses by soft tissues in the head launches a thermoelastic pressure wave that travels in the brain •Depending on the power of the impinging microwave pulses, the level of induced sound pressure could be considerably above the threshold of auditory perception. •The microwave auditory effects and associated pressure waves could potentially render damage to brain tissues to cause lethal or nonlethal injury.

The game of life, reimagined for a superaging society
Japan's Community Coping, a “superaging society” board game, is intended to be a microcosm of the myriad socioeconomic problems facing citizens of the world’s most rapidly aging society.
"I played the “superaging society” board game in which players are tasked with preventing graying communities from collapsing. And it's much more difficult than one might think - as it is in real life."
"A single game lasts 10 years, from 2021 to 2030. If more than four residents are left in any of the districts after a round, the community is overwhelmed and collapses. Game over."
Agroforests in the tropics provide key conservation landscapes for amphibians
Study shows the tiny measures agroforestry owners can take to help preserve frogs. "Frogs are natural pesticides & consume more insect biomass than almost any other animals...they allow us to eat more organically, using fewer chemicals in crop production.”

In the 1890s, there were only a few antennas in the world. These rudimentary devices were primarly a part of experiments that demonstrated the transmission of electromagnetic waves. By World War II, antennas had become so ubiquitous that their use had transformed the lives of the average person via radio and television reception. The number of antennas in the United States was on the order of one per household, representing growth rivaling the auto industry during the same period.
By the early 21st century, thanks in large part to mobile phones, the average person now carries multiple antennas on them wherever they go (mobile phones have multiple antennas such as GPS, WIFI, Cellular and NFC). This significant rate of growth is not likely to slow, as wireless communication systems become a larger part of everyday life. In addition, the strong growth in RFID devices suggests that the number of antennas in use may increase to one antenna per object in the world (product, container, pet, banana, toy, cd, etc.). This number would dwarf the number of antennas in use today. Hence, learning a little (or a large amount) about antennas couldn't hurt, and will contribute to one's overall understanding of the modern world.
Huawei pivots to renewable energy as smartphones slump - U.S. sanctions force Chinese company to pursue solar power and storage projects
#Comment: China is already the world leader in all things renewables and is poised to significantly expand its technological and logistical lead in this crucial sector. Any other actor (nations, etc.) that wants to transform legacy energy systems to renewables, will inevitably have to deal with the Chinese and hence maintain somewhat positive relationships. Otherwise, all proclamations of energy transformation are just nice words. Case in point, recent headline from Germany - a country that is actively supporting the US-Empire lead war against China/Russia/Global-South/etc.:
Germany aims to get 100% of energy from renewable sources by 2035
Germany aims to fulfil all its electricity needs with supplies from renewable sources by 2035, compared to its previous target to abandon fossil fuels "well before 2040," according to a government draft paper obtained by Reuters on Monday. Europe's top economy has been under pressure from other Western nations to become less dependent on Russian gas, but its plans to phase out coal-fired power plants by 2030 and to shut its nuclear power plants by end-2022 have left it with few options.

Intracellular Reverse Transcription of Pfizer BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine BNT162b2 In Vitro in Human Liver Cell Line - by Department of Clinical Sciences, Lund University, Sweden et.al
Summary: A mainstream study from Sweden showing the Pfizer vaccine penetrates the cells changing RNA to DNA in 6 hours (reverse transcription), causing genomic toxicity ("human genome editing"). Translation: You all got turned into a Big Pharma GMO product that could express the cytotoxic spike protein for the rest of your lives and could also pass it onto your children. Also possibly cancerous. Why were there no tests for biosafety? The biggest stealth crime against humanity ever?
Abstract: Preclinical studies of COVID-19 mRNA vaccine BNT162b2, developed by Pfizer and BioNTech, showed reversible hepatic effects in animals that received the BNT162b2 injection. Furthermore, a recent study showed that SARS-CoV-2 RNA can be reverse-transcribed and integrated into the genome of human cells. In this study, we investigated the effect of BNT162b2 on the human liver cell line Huh7 in vitro. Huh7 cells were exposed to BNT162b2, and quantitative PCR was performed on RNA extracted from the cells. We detected high levels of BNT162b2 in Huh7 cells and changes in gene expression of long interspersed nuclear element-1 (LINE-1), which is an endogenous reverse transcriptase. Immunohistochemistry using antibody binding to LINE-1 open reading frame-1 RNA-binding protein (ORFp1) on Huh7 cells treated with BNT162b2 indicated increased nucleus distribution of LINE-1. PCR on genomic DNA of Huh7 cells exposed to BNT162b2 amplified the DNA sequence unique to BNT162b2. Our results indicate a fast up-take of BNT162b2 into human liver cell line Huh7, leading to changes in LINE-1 expression and distribution. We also show that BNT162b2 mRNA is reverse transcribed intracellularly into DNA in as fast as 6 h upon BNT162b2 exposure.
