India proposes law to ban cryptocurrencies, create official digital currency (Reuters)
India plans to introduce a law to ban private cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and put in place a framework for an official digital currency to be issued by the central bank, according to a legislative agenda listed by the government.
The law will “create a facilitative framework for creation of the official digital currency to be issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI),” said the agenda, published on the lower house website on Friday. The legislation, listed for debate in the current parliamentary session, seeks “to prohibit all private cryptocurrencies in India, however, it allows for certain exceptions to promote the underlying technology of cryptocurrency and its uses,” the agenda said.

Former head of Vatican bank found guilty of embezzlement
A former head of the Vatican bank, Angelo Caloia, has been found guilty of embezzlement and money laundering and sentenced to eight years and 11 months in prison, making him the highest-ranking Vatican official to be convicted of a financial crime.
The Vatican court on Thursday also convicted Gabriele Liuzzo, 97, and his son Lamberto Liuzzo, 55, both Italian lawyers who were consultants to the bank.

Tech Coalition Working To Create Digital COVID-19 Vaccination Passport (thehill.com)
A coalition of health and technology organizations are working to develop a digital COVID-19 vaccination passport to allow businesses, airlines and countries to check if people have received the vaccine. The Vaccination Credential Initiative, announced on Thursday, is formulating technology to confirm vaccinations in the likelihood that some governments will mandate people provide proof of their shots in order to enter the nation. The organization hopes the technology will allow people to "demonstrate their health status to safely return to travel, work, school and life while protecting their data privacy."
The initiative, which includes members like Microsoft, Oracle and U.S. nonprofit Mayo Clinic, is using the work from member Commons Project's international digital document that verifies a person has tested negative for COVID-19, the Financial Times reported. The Commons Project's technology, created in partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation, is being utilized by three major airline alliances. The coalition is reportedly in discussions with several governments to create a program requiring either negative tests or proof of vaccination to enter, Paul Meyer, the chief executive of The Commons Project, told the Times. The technology will need to allow patients to keep their data secure while being available in a digital wallet or a physical QR code for them to regulate who sees the information.

The Syndicate's Controlled Demolition
Since 2008, the global capitalist elites (the syndicate) silently pulled upwards of 100 trillion dollars out of the "real" economy into more "secure" vehicles: Offshore havens, Real-estate (buying entire cities), take-over of industries and massive privatization of public infrastructure and resources. Simultaneously, the central banks around the planet created money at an unprecedented rate, making the syndicate exponentially more rich - simply doing nothing. After a decade of this scheme, the next risk management "challenge" has come into focus: There are trillions of dollars of liabilities in the "real" economy, which the syndicate wants to detach itself from: Pensions, Insurances, Loans, Social Safety-Nets et cetera. So what to do? Historically, a controlled demolition of the economy is a effective solution: Through manufactured wars, civil wars and general chaos, the bottom 80% of the economy crashes into a highly depressed state. Inevitably, institutions collapse and liabilities magically evaporate. And while everybody is distracted and hurting, new totalitarian control structures are installed and power is consolidated in the same old hands.
