Island of Sanity
My thesis is simple: The louder you all scream & hectically move as if your insane (Politics! Technology! Economy! Progress! Crisis! Emergency! Harder! Faster! Louder! More! MORE!!!), the more people will seek islands of sanity - where the practices of relaxation, mutual care & nature connection are celebrated.

Monodisciplinary
Many professionals in academia & industry have a tendency to overfit on their job/discipline category: "I am a pro in X & hence ONLY interested in X info & people". Such narrow minded "monodisciplinary" behaviour is bad for collaboration & creativity. Why does it keep happening?

"Together against the stupidity of prosperity" - Unauthorized protest and sign by Tobias Wirz (2016)

Mutual aid is “cooperation for the sake of the common good.” It’s getting people to come together to meet each other’s needs, recognizing that as humans, our survival is dependent on one another.

How to improve nature connectedness: A meta-analysis
Our latest paper brings together previous research in a meta-analytic review to explore the impact of experimental manipulations and field interventions to improve nature connectedness in adult populations.
Conclusion: "Lasting increases in nature connection were observed after regular nature activities & nature-noticing practices, as well as regular mindfulness & meditation practices carried out in real or simulated nature contexts."

"The danger of Artificial Intelligence is not that machines increasingly think like humans, but that humans increasingly think like machines." - Joseph Weizenbaum (1923 - 2008), a fathers of A.I.
"It is disastrous that most of my colleagues believe that we can create an artificial human being. This immense nonsense is related to delusions of grandeur. Maybe, if I had known back then what i know now, that i'd have said 'I don't like being in this branch.'" - Joseph Weizenbaum

"All things express their nature. As you wear a feeling, it becomes your nature. It might take a moment or a year—it is entirely dependent upon the degree of conviction." - Neville Goddard

.‘Lying flat’, or tang ping, a social protest movement, went mainstream in China last year, referring to the idea of just doing enough to get by. But now, some Chinese youths are ‘letting it rot’ by not even attempting to participate in society to begin with."
#Comment: Expect to see more of this type of thing globally, in lock-step with the rise of "naked automation" (tech with no social/education/culture plan)

Automation compassion?
I seriously wonder who is building solutions for all the people that will soon be out of work, left with no career opportunities and totally stressed out by the rise of "naked automation"? (A.I with no regard/alternative plan for the humans it replaces). The technologists & capitalists have no answers to offer what so ever.

Virtual Insanity
The wonderful irony of people using electricity intense GPU's to generate 'fake' images of autumn trees on their screens - instead of just going for a walk in the forest and enjoying the real trees.
The result of pointing this out to this "artist"?
