What is Dreambooth & how to use it?
#Comment: Those "generative selfies" startups being built on-top of this now distract from the obvious killer biz-case. Generative Porn: Upload 5 pics of any person, get back HQ nudes. Easy to build, Big $, 0 Ethics. Live in 1 month? It will be interesting to see how organized crime quickly becomes a giant player in generative A.I media & how naive A.I tech bros react to it. Black-hat generative botnets can be useful for the Mafia (+ intel agencies) in so many ways, it's bound to explode.

Post AI Art Practices
The reason why many create art is to enjoy the process of creation & grow as person - less to have many artefact. Generative AI tools commodify artefact creation & tends to trivialize the process. It will push many to discover new activities/processes, offering similar fulfilment

"Yes the planet got destroyed. But for a beautiful moment in time we created artificial intelligence - that became useless & irrelevant after most people & nature were gone."

What every A.I company won't tell it's employees: If management had an A.I that's able to do the work, they would replace all human employees with it today.

The Late Capitalist Art Apocalypse
My wife has been a pro comic artist for 10y. Today she reported that Pixiv - Japan's leading art community - has been massively flooded by AI generated content. All ranking lists are now dominated by accounts that upload 1000s of AI images/day. A catastrophe for artists like her.

The Gospel of A.I Tool Makers
The promise of A.I tool makers: "Use our hyper complex machine, you don't own or understand, that reduces agency & disrupts everything & your life will improve, maybe"
What many want: "A simply tool i understand & enjoy, that will improve my life today, with minimal disruption"

The current excitement around AI & AGI is missing the bigger picture & is unimaginative. Hic sunt dracones my friends: This century will be predominately defined by "Mind Over Matter" and all its applications and implications going mainstream. Reality is exactly what you think it is.

"The danger of Artificial Intelligence is not that machines increasingly think like humans, but that humans increasingly think like machines." - Joseph Weizenbaum (1923 - 2008), a fathers of A.I.
"It is disastrous that most of my colleagues believe that we can create an artificial human being. This immense nonsense is related to delusions of grandeur. Maybe, if I had known back then what i know now, that i'd have said 'I don't like being in this branch.'" - Joseph Weizenbaum

.‘Lying flat’, or tang ping, a social protest movement, went mainstream in China last year, referring to the idea of just doing enough to get by. But now, some Chinese youths are ‘letting it rot’ by not even attempting to participate in society to begin with."
#Comment: Expect to see more of this type of thing globally, in lock-step with the rise of "naked automation" (tech with no social/education/culture plan)

Automation compassion?
I seriously wonder who is building solutions for all the people that will soon be out of work, left with no career opportunities and totally stressed out by the rise of "naked automation"? (A.I with no regard/alternative plan for the humans it replaces). The technologists & capitalists have no answers to offer what so ever.
