Praxis wisdom by a Qigong master based in Hongkong
“Those who advance to a very high level in their practice, no matter whether it is tai chi, qigong or meditation, usually have either very high wisdom or are very stupid. That’s because those with very high wisdom know persistence is the key to success, while the very stupid ones just follow the master’s instructions without deviating and practice no matter what. Those who are somewhere in between usually have many questions (especially those who are overly intellectual). They doubt their practice so don’t follow the teachings or practice consistently. They may even keep changing their methods and switching teachers.”
The Laws of Simplicity: “Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious, and adding the meaningful.”
Joshua Medcalf on Grit
"The irony is that this ‘fake it till you make it’ tactic is the exact opposite of how truly successful people live. They live with authentic vulnerability because they know that the world always connects more with your grit than your shine. They might show up for the shine, but they will stay because of your grit."

The great conspiracy of the Ornithologists
On a crisp autumn day in 1915, 38 ornithologists gathered in the tiny Swiss village of Zimmerwald. Only, they were not actually bird watchers - that was just a cover. These were socialists from all over Europe, meeting to discuss ways to bring peace to a continent ravaged by WW1.
#Comment: "Ornithologists", "Socialists", and "Peace" are mere words, void of meaning until embodied and put into action.
