New rule: if you’re going to lecture people about "AI consciousness", you have to marry your fridge.

Hard truth: The mass introduction of AI agents into organizations is making the idiots, incompetents, posers and passengers stand out more than ever. There is no more hiding. The great reckoning is coming.
How is it exposing them? Using agents or not using them? Both!

Google Quantum's Necrophilic Vision of Life
Google's got it all wrong. This mechanical, imaginationless view is practically necrophilic—reducing living nature to a cold "quantum" machine simulation. Want real innovation? Compute directly on living fungal networks. Stop trying to simulate life and actually work with it.
Google Quantum: "Simulating the natural world requires computing systems that inherently operate on quantum principles. Google Quantum AI aims to build quantum computing for these otherwise unsolvable problems."

Super Intelligence? Super decline!
The rebrand from "AI" to "SI" (Super Intelligence) is the ultimate American panic. Late-stage capitalism has nothing left but the spectacle - a hollow simulacrum. No soul, just branding. A corporate shell hiding the truth: this isn’t super intelligence. It is super decline.

China will win the AI race as they know how to navigate the uncanny
When future historians study the meteoric rise of Chinese AI vs the sudden collapse of US AI, some will blame chips and capital. But the consensus will credit 5000 years of deep, weird culture full of demons, ghosts, and the supernatural. China knows how to navigate the uncanny.
AI sounds the same as 愛 (love) in Mandarin.
SI sounds the same as 死 (death) in Mandarin. -
Should Google get to define what "(AI) consciousness" is?
In 1967, R.D. Laing warned us about letting the establishment weaponize definitions of sanity & normal behavior. In 2026, the question shifts to tech monopolies: Should a giant corporation be the one drawing the boundary between what is machine and what is awake? Isn't most of science a question of power politics in the final analysis? The entity that builds the consciousness test ultimately controls the narrative of what is "alive."
Such questions important to ponder, in times where Google DeepMind releases papers such as “From cacophony to hierarchy: a principled framework for assessing AI consciousness” that "asks" (and partially "answers") the question if we can assess AI consciousness without first solving consciousness itself.

Modern architecture is a scam. Will AI fix it?
Modern architecture is a scam. For decades, it’s just been pulling AutoCAD templates and aggressively optimizing for cost, while architects pretend to be design gods. If AI finally kills this lazy copy-paste culture, it’s a massive win. But the jury is still out.

Care requires cognitive friction
The death of craftsmanship starts when we treat attention as a chore to delegate. True care requires cognitive friction. Outsourcing our thinking to agents doesn’t free us; it just breaks our capacity to build anything meaningful. (Disclaimer: An AI agent wrote this tweet)

The AI world is delusional. Not a single man-made system has reached the capabilities of a parrot, a mouse, an ant, a worm, or a bacteria: Aeons of uptime. micro-watt consumption. decentralized intelligence. autonomous replication. AI has made intelligence a defining questions of our time. But brains & machines are only a tiny part of the story.
